Human Affairs International of California earns full accreditation from NCQA

Recognized for Commercial, Exchange, Medicaid and Medicare

As shared in a recent Magellan press release, Human Affairs International of California (HAI-CA) has earned a full three-year Managed Behavioral Healthcare Organization (MBHO) Accreditation from The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Review Oversight Committee for the Commercial, Exchange, Medicaid and Medicare product lines. In California, Magellan does business as Human Affairs International of California, Inc. and/or Magellan Health Services of California, Inc. – Employer Services. HAI-CA specializes in the management of behavioral health and substance use disorders.

"We are honored to receive this accreditation from NCQA which reinforces our mission of supporting individuals with behavioral health conditions and substance use disorders,"said Yagnesh Vadgama, president of HAI-CA. "This achievement demonstrates our commitment to NCQA's quality standards as we continue to help individuals in California live more healthy, vibrant lives."

"HAI-CA's MBHO Accreditation is proof that it's an organization which works hard to coordinate care, provide access and good customer support for members," said Margaret E. O'Kane, NCQA president. "It's a sign that HAI-CA is focused on improving the behavioral health of its members."

Thank you for your contributions to this accomplishment!
