Refer Sharp Health Plan members to in-network labs

Laboratory expenses are one of the biggest contributors to a patient’s healthcare costs. That’s why Magellan* and our health plan client, Sharp Health Plan, ask you to refer members to an in-network provider.

Sharp Health Plan members who require outpatient lab work associated with mental health and/or substance use disorder treatment must be referred to a lab contracted directly with their health plan.

In-network labs include:

  • Laboratory Corporation of America (Labcorp)
  • Pacific Rim Pathology
  • Quest Diagnostics

Note: All genetic and pharmacogenetic testing requires prior authorization from Sharp Health Plan.
